Appraisal Research, Inc. has provided and continues to provide a full range of real estate appraisal and consulting services since 1970. Our staff is knowledgeable and trained in valuation science with many years of professional experience in most property types. We maintain our own internal data base of all recorded sales in Boone and Winnebago counties, and we have quarterly data for all residential subdivisions developed since 1997. Property types appraised and consulted on include: agricultural land and farms, apartments, banks, commercial, convenience store/gas stations, golf courses, high tech properties, hotels and motels, industrial, offices, medical facilities, parking garages, religious facilities, residential, restaurants, special use properties, service garages, subdivisions, theaters, as well as appraisal review and appraisal consulting.

Years of education, experience, ethical service and a commitment to the most current technology help us to provide superior service with well supported opinions and reports while meeting dead lines for service at reasonable fees.

Our founder, Joseph “Joe” Magdziarz, MAI, SRA has been serving the Northern Illinois market since 1970. Joe is an active national and international instructor for the Appraisal Institute and he is the National Chair of Education for the Appraisal Institute. Always active with his professional groups, he is Vice-president of the Chicago Chapter Appraisal Institute and he has served as chapter presidents and on the local and national Board of Directors for the Appraisal Institute. As an established leader in the valuation profession for more than 35 years, Joe’s experience has grown Appraisal Research Inc. to be a well-respected company with the ability, knowledge and experience to meet the growing and diverse markets of real estate.

With a widely diversified background in appraisal and market analysis, Appraisal Research Inc. can provide solutions to real estate (property) problems, which can include consulting and valuation services.
